Boat windows

Thanks Gardenshed, but its aluminuim window frames I was after, not the actual windows, hope you havent been in those pubs in Templebar again.
Is Ceaser's palace Italian resturant, down near Trinity still open? they had the best garlic stuffed mushrooms I have ever tasted.
Cheers, Eamonn.

Don't know the restaurant that you're referring to as I'm reaosnably new in the Dublin area & generally stay out in the Howth/Malahide direction.
Nowhere beats a good Glasgow curry though. What an idea..........the Ashoka Dublin
Shame that Sharan Gill has retired.
My old Ali's Shish Mahal cookbook (the original Gibson Street one) has served me well in the 15 years since I left Glasgow.
If I were you, Id give QDPlastics a call. They might be able to suggest somewhere that you can get the aluminium profiles.

We had ours made by Marine Window Fabrications Ltd in Burnham-on-Crouch (Rex Tylor 01621 786413). Excellent quality and service and they were relatively cheap, but I don't know if they'd just do the frames.

Would second GardenShed with QD Plastics. Ask for Ian (MD). He will put you in touch with someone local to you. Always good for a chat.

Donald

I make them (novacrylics engineering) in acrylic up to 20mm thick and in polycarbonate (riot shield material) up to 12mm thick.

Id need a rough size for a quote and then an accurate drawing (prefered), or a template!

Turn around at the moment is 1 week.

the original owner of crouch marine cut off one hand during an accident, so he gave up. When we picked up our replacement windows one year ago, the company was for sale. Thanks for the link. I need soon an additional window from the new owners.

Thanks all for your very helpful replies. I see I have a close name sake, Clyde-sailor, would I be correct in assuming your name is John? Wont mention a surname.
Welcome to the forum John, or Clyde- Sailor.
