What does the panel think- 2 new D3 engines and drives into a very clean 1988 Fairline Carrera. Any ideas of value? I will have her re-surveyed in the near future but wanted some ideas. The seem to be advertised between 18 and 24k with petrols- so any more for a diesel version?

Any ideas/opinions welcome.

Great idea, but we thought of doing the same on a carrera and D3's won't fit, too tight between the engines. The only possible way is to cut the whole transom out and to replace it with a new one to reposition the space between outdrives, ie engines. RK marine did the job on a Sunfury for a pair of D3's.
