I am taking CdG to Scotland from the east coast in May, and therefore there is an empty boat transporter returning to the East Coast around Ipswich. If by chance anyone is thinking of doing the reverse, please get in touch.

Worth talking to John Shepherd, he brought our boat from Ipswich to Argyll in late December as a return load, he had been moving new Jeanneaus from Dusseldorf to the London Boat Show, unusual to get a return load coming this way as most transport is South to North. I tried for quotes on the East Coast and in Scotland he was the only one who actively responded, very efficient with good trucks.

Before anyone suggests me as a result of previous threads, Pyrojames has already kindly offered this opportunity to me, and I have declined with thanks, as I intend to sail Capricious South, starting (weather permitting!) on Thursday.

I shall stick with Peter Downs who moves the boat virtually every year, and knows the boat and the farm yard he has to get it out of!
