I just booked my tickets. Flying into London City Airport from Dublin on the 9th and leaving on the 10th- 509 euro. Dublin to gatwick on the same days = 1 cent - .6 of a penny plus taxes. Around £30, well I choose Gatwick. Is it easy to get from Gatwick to Excel ? I would appreciate any guidance or travel hints.
I think I can feel the sea water starting to flow in my veins again and it's not even Christmas yet. ahhh smell that fiberglass resin.

Gatwick's not too bad. LGW to London Bridge - 3 stops on Thameslink then Jubilee line into Docklands. Maybe a couple of stops on DLR or courtesy bus from Canary Wharf.

Or rent a car and nip round the M25 and on to the A12. Should take about 45-60mins to Excel if the Dartford Crossing is relatively traffic free
