Boat refurb, anybody done one?? Tips and pitfalls to avoid.

The galley looks great but those seats in the snug look a bit upright and shallow. The previous owners of my boat lowered and deepened the seats in the main saloon of my Broom Crown and it is now very comfortable
What boat is it?

That looks really good!

one tip.....when using domestic kitchen units and if you have no cupboard locks, use some sort of retainer clip. If you don’t, they fly open in any sort of roll.

Thats the voice of experience on this matter ?

Yes we've already thought of that. we have the kiddie safe clips behind the cupboard front and everything stowed in bins etc.
Still got a fair bit to do but happy with the results so far.

Saw once on a Riviera 4000 , a kinda open plan saloon + fwd cabin the backrest. In the saloon ( your sung ) the saloon seat back hinged up and two poles were placed under it for support .
Normal with “ Pullman” berths that seat back is attached by ceiling straps ( with the necessary structural reinforcements? )
This Pullman idea gives a neat and wider single berth for occasional use .
