I don't like the name of my UK boat ... but SWMBO says not to change ... I made mistake of letting her know earlier that it's regarded as bad-luck ..... even the promise of large amounts of Vino at re-naming couldn't persuade her ......

Yup - it is a new boat.

Renamed a boat (National Squib) a few years ago. Put the silver coin under the mast and the bleeder sank on its mooring in a NE gale. Renamed another Squib - no coin no ceremony and it has been fine. I think that Neptune and the wind gods are really only interested in boats over 20 feet.
