Boat in build pics (Squadron 78)

I was idly watching local football this afternoon wondering what security features there were on these big boats!

Anyone interested in a new Squaddie 78.

Built to special order and looking great and currently laying in my garage under covers.

Any offer considered (cash only) .

Leave your phone number and I will call you back.

I asked that once, but got shot down for trying to steal them. I seriously think I could steal most of the boats on my river pretty silently. ONLY SPECULATING!!

JFM, can you confirm that the loos are fully functional so that forumites can use them whilst admiring your pride and joy? Failing that are the sinks plumbed in?

Pete

Mmmmmm. I wonder if the holding tank capacity will be enough for all 10 days of the show.....;):D

Um, Pete, you are cruisin' for a bruisin' mate :D

Anyone who wants to do that gag of using an uncommissioned loo may do so at the bathroom department of their local B+Q, not on my bateau :D

excel is 1/2 mile long. Match is at one end the only open official loos during build are at the other.
Are they plumbed in :D I hope the macerator pumps have hour meters.
Apparently is the annual security staff curry night tonight. It will allow Fairline to test their queueing system tomorrow I suppose.

jfm, I might extend my visit to LIBS to 2 days, any chance of a bed for the night!!:D:D
I'm not fussy, the crew cabin looks plush enough for me!! :D:cool:

Cheers
See ya Saturday.
Al.

Bed is no problem Al. Will be made up and ready, beer and sandwich in the fridge. You just can't use the loo, so make sure to go before leaving Glasgow :D

I'm hoping to got to LIBS this afternoon if I can make the time (on an exhibitor's pass) so might have a photo or two later. Apparantly Fairline have put the Laser tender on the boat now and I will see about rigging a sail (which is currently here, in my office) this afternoon. So if any moboers see a white triangular raggy thing on a stick, it doesn't necessarily mean you're in the wrong hall of Excel :D

See you on le weekend

Bad news Alastair. I hear all the Fairline salesmen are sleeping on board during the Show and the security guards have got the crew cabin. I'm sure jfm wont mind if you bring a sleeping bag and bed down on the whale foreskin leather sofa in the saloon. Sounds like it'll be party night every night on board though. I'm not sure jfm's onboard vintage vine collection is going to survive intact:)

I'm looking out for the cab with the sail sticking out of the roof. Worth asking for a 10% discount heading out to Exel cos it's generally downwind. But don't ask the cabbie to tack back up the A13.
