Thats a reassuringly thick lump of hull there! Not sure that incorporating the Cross of St George in the new Squadron logo will appeal to Fairline's Celtic market
Tee hee! More than enough to be used as mains on many boats...3.3 litres each matey
Must be another instalment/up date due by now?
Must be another instalment/up date due by now?
James is there on Friday -with me. I am looking at the new Squadron 50 - very excited!
Only the plywood mockup at this stage. I will ask if I can see your magnificent ship.
Not to mention the only one with two big holes in the hull...Easy to spot, as there are only 4 boats in the 78 shed (#'s 67 to 70) and mine is the least built!
I seem to remember that Princess stage payments coincide with the installation of the engines.
If this is the same at Fairline, would this mean that the engines are in place?
If so, some pics would be very interesting.
Or did they fit the fins already?
after it has gone by road to the launch/pre-delivery facility in Ipswich (E coast UK, a little north of London)
Now that's a sight I'd like to see.
Have you got a name selected yet?
I'm surprised by the speed of their progress, what is the total build time from start to hand over and how many man hours go into it?
I'd like to see it too. Never seen one of these on the road. It goes at night and they have an agreed route with the police and have to take down some signs and streetlamps to get round some of the corners
New name kinda selected but I'm cogitating for another month before deciding for sure![]()
