Dont understand all this need for boat hooks. We have one but it's a bit thick and naf. If it's no good for the job in hand, I just turn round and you can grab most anything off the swim platform.

Knickers is another thing. Never found them just as easy to deal with!!

I recommend installing two. One at home and the other on your boat. One of them is definately going to snap at some point.
