Has anyone out there any knowledge of where I can get the diesel injection pump for this engine (BMC 2.2 diesel)overhauled/replaced. It is an in line pump and quite old now. (1966) and parts are relatively few and far between apparantly. All suggestions considered (except throw it away and buy a new engine!) John Lilley

Try your local Lucas CAV agent - should be in the phone book. The one in Exeter did an excellent job on my T90 FDP and the injectors.

Adams Morey, the LDV truck people still have much of the old BMC stuff on their books, and may well be able to help.

(LDV = Leyland Daf Vehicles, incorporating BL, who took over BMC etc back in the 70s)
