Just bought a Blue Seas 13 way DC panel with meters direct from a US discount chandler at less than £300 freight, duty and vat paid. Only UK price I could find on the web for the same (ie CE marked) product was £780. Does anyone know of a UK supplier of the Blue Sea Systems range that charges reasonable prices - as the freight on the additional small items I forgot to order and still need would make importing unattractive.

Good chandlers stock Blue Sea...

You can get a range of Blue Sea equipment from a number of good chandlers. I know that Fox's Chandlery in Ipswich stocks Blue Sea (because I've bought fuse holders from there).

We are in the process of stocking them..

we are in the process of stocking Blue Seas, and it will eventually get to the secure webshop.

as a retailer it is annoying to suffer non-US pricing structures, but our hands are tied because it is illegal for us to sell non CE marked goods. We have to source through the "proper" wholesalers.

To be honest CE marking on a lot of small items is a load of beurocratic cobblers, but it was all agreed by the people we elected.

let me know what you are after, and I'll try and give you a sensible (but CE labelled!) price.

The US price for CE and non-CE marked goods are the same. Delivery takes a little longer. As I got a good deal on my radar from you, I'll keep watching your web site.
