Exact dame on my KAD32, and you will hear many more stories...

Aparantly due to moisture stuck in the gauges they go a bit crazy. I've found that once they get a few hours in the sun they return back to normal. Thankfully engine hours are also (if only?) logged on the engine so engine hours still clock up. I'm considering taking my gauge out and putting it in the hotpress for the night (I have an open canopy sports cruiser so gets quite moist)

Hi Niall. I think you've been chatting to my other half re our S23 and cracking? Anyway, we've been advised not to bother drying the guage out - no sooner is it dry than it gets damp again. Apparently the engine hours are logged on the engine - it just takes a Volvo engineer to get them off on our Sealine.

Hi Anne,
Yes very possibly... Is it Paul?

I've given up hope on my hour meter. I know the hours are there, and the odd time that they return I see that they're clocking up. It's just aqward as when someone comes to have a look at the boat they reckon you're trying to con them with engine hours

Yes - Paul it is. Hope the info was useful. Blinking guage or not, we've no complaints and thoroughly enjoy every minute we spend on our S23. She is our sanity break!

Good stuff. I currentl have a 25ft sports cruiser with a KAD32 - I just like the look of the Sealine, and is a case of WANT WANT WANT. Spec wise my own boat has all I need. Shorepower, Electric Windlass, Electric sea toilet, fridge, sink, cooker etc. etc. the exact same as the Sealine actually... exept I don't have wipers /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
