To complicate things further, I replaced my washers ("parts for engines" supply alloy washers) with dowty washers. Far better.
Apologies. I missed a part number off from my invoice. 957170 and 243487 are for the fuel leak off (I had to replace both). 957178 is the gasket for the bleed screw (of the secondary filter pictured) the bleed screw is 944679. That said think I would go with Vic008 and use dowty washers if there's a next time. Diagram here: Volvo Penta parts and accessories - MarinePartsEurope.comThose part numbers do not appear to be those for the bleed screw, and its gasket, on the fuel filter.
I think they maybe for a banjo bolt and gaskets {copper washers} else where on the system
.
.......If the bled screw has a copper washer as a gasket it will need annealing from time to time.......
957178 is the gasket for the bleed screw
just get a helicoil kit and do it in situ
Those are still not the part numbers for the bleed screw the OP pictured originally.Apologies.
