Bill of Sale.. copy where?

I am looking to buy a boat privately
Other than the RYA site, Where else can I get a copy of a Bill of Sale
I don't feel like joining the RYA

I'm not aware that anybody keeps copies of Bills of Sale - there is just the original as completed and signed.

Oh - reading between the lines is it a blank Bill of Sale you're after? If so I believe the Registry of Ships can supply or go to

I think you may find that you do not have to join the RYA. I didn't and downloaded their 'Sale of a Secondhand Vessel' Bill of Sale. You may just have to register to be able to log in & download it. I think, that isCan't quite remember exactly, but I know I didn't have to join.
