Pencil anode for Merc. 4.2D. About 50mm longx12mm wide, £16.50 each or £20 with the brassed off cap. But Sir just think how much it is to replace the heat exchanger! And you have got 2 of the little buggers. Dave.

That's even more than the anode for my bowthruster- thought that was expensive at £14 compared to the hull anodes (2.2Kg) costing a fiver each!.

If you know the dimensions/thread type it's worth checking asap supplies/zincsmart.com/mme engineering (very cheap) or mgduff. Zincsmart list loads of pencil anodes,some allegedly for mercruisers. Also mgduff have a list <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.stepmarksoftware.ltd.uk/mgduff/acatalog/Zinc_Pencil_Anodes_And_Brass_Retaining_Plugs.html>here</A> of anodes & brass plugs.
