Hi everyone
Just returned from Hols in Fuertaventura. Had a trip on a Catamaran over to Lanzarote under sail , free bar lunch included lasted about 4 hours. Point of the post is "What a b****y good job those guys had. Spent an hour in the morning cleaning the cat, sailed for an hour, anchored for 2 hours served some lunch and poured some drinks, sailed back for another hour and that seemed to be it.
I want that job. - Ian

Having spent Christmas / New Year out there, and discovering the rate that these guys kill themselves when they get into their cars, I'm sure it won't be long before a vacancy arises. Saw two horrific ones in the first two days

I saw a pump attendant at the Caleta de Fuste harbour standing over a pump chatting with an Amigo with a cig in his mouth. And a guy in the same harbour building a steal cruiser hull using an angle grinder with no goggles on, flip flops and shorts. Health and safety would have a feild day out there.
Some very nice Astinor sports fishers and a Squadron in Corelejo.

I noticed the Squadron in Corralejo harbour - looked a bit sad I thought.

There's another in Puerto Calero in Lanzarote which I have seen being used on one occasion. Also, there's a late 80s / early 90s Targa 33 there, registered in Southampton, but the name escapes me.

Did you notice "the dolphin" Caleta de Fuste harbour. Looked like it needed antifouling!!

I can't see the point of having a motor cruiser in these parts, unless you're a drug baron, but I think they all use RIBS & sports fishers.

Hope you had a great time mate, there was concern over your boat up at Windermere, you not been here an' all.
I think some of the guys on the forum were keeping an eye on it for ya, apparently the lake level rose by a few feet or so and one or two boats got into shit's state, hope yours is O.K

Regards Dave.
