Where can I get a reliable weather forcast for this weekend (Irish Sea) They all seem to be different or maybe it's that it's not what I want to hear /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Sunday is pretty much guaranteed to be a light wind day as we are racing round the Kish lighthouse and the last time we tried that we were sailing with the kite barely filling and going backwards with the tide whilst attempting to round the lighthouse!
And another one is XCWeather - primarily aimed at paragliders, but useful and often quite accurate forecasts for 5 days ahead. You'll find a forecast you like the sound of eventually!
look at four or five put the results on a spreadsheet and take an average. We did that last week and although all the forecast differed greatly our own average was spot on.

Follow links - sea area forecast - marine (bottom of page) - observations - Marine Buoy data - M2 buoy.
Theres probably a better way but this will do you nicely.
Also, forumite Kinderedspirit has excellent links.
