Best way to store a Tiara?

Only used once, a bit sweaty but otherwise as new.
Can't see me needing it again for a while now so any suggestions on the best method to grease / store it?

weld it to the top of the mast for use as a retroflective safety device ?

Use it on a tripping line to hook up fouled anchors ? Best kept in the anchor locker then, a layer of mud will preserve it.

If you are referring the one the Duchess of Cambridge wore today, then it is not 'used only once'! It was loaned to the Duchess by Her Majesty the Queen.

The veil was held in place by the Cartier ‘halo’ tiara, made in 1936 and purchased by King George VI for his wife Queen Elizabeth three weeks before he succeeded his brother as King.
The tiara was presented to Princess Elizabeth, now the Queen, by her mother on the occasion of her 18th birthday.
