Best stuff to lock bolts/nuts

Just a realquick question.
What's best for locking the nuts and bolts on shaft and hull anodes please?
Every body seems to be suggesting spring washers but MG Duffs studs come with external tooth locking washers. See below)

If you want to go the "Loctite" belt and braces route then use a medium strength thread locking fluid such as Loctite 242 ( blue)

Deform the first exposed thread with a chisel.
It is important to ensure that there is no looseness in the bolt on the shaft at least,or the anode is not "complete" with the shaft either for electrical contact or, more importantly, it just moves up and down the length of the shaft, possibly jamming in the cutless bearing

For work I often used Nord-Lock washers which are excellent where there is a lot of vibration. Expensive and overkill for a hull anode as these don't often fall off. I have had problems with shaft anodes when they are depleted and work loose so I now always use Loctite on the screws.

Thanks
I've seen cable ties tightly around a prop shaft before to stop a loose shaft anode sliding down to the cutless bearing. I've wondered about them becoming jammed instead. Any thoughts?
