Best place to sell your boat ?

I'm sure they wouldn't complain about me as I only want something in the £1600 region, and that's hardly commercial, more of a hobby

Just a suggestion, why not take the phone number off 'Slippy's' side and change it to a For Sale sign. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I can't see anything commercial about this sort of advertising. If it's your own boat, it's not a profit making issue. I would agree to ban this from brokers and trade though. These would be private deals between 'friends', surely.

Also, some of these boats may well have been featured in previous threads and some readers may well be interested in buying one of them but not be aware that it's available.

Perhaps this a topic for a new thread altogether... Probably been thrashed to death years ago though. Doh! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I doubt it, most people don't have their settings set to "dateslip" as it is not the default setting, so for most the posts are in "first post" order rather than "last replied to" order.

Mad I know, but there it is. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
