Good post, LJS! Made me feel very hungry.
My most memorable meal afloat was after a 36 hour trip through the Bahamas. We were on a 52ft powercat, running south-east along the Atlantic side of the Bahamas, and trying to stay ahead of some fairly grim weather (and not succeeding). I'd spent the night at the helm up on the flybridge and just as the sun was coming up we started to pick our way through the reef off Providentiales in the Turks & Caicos. And Al appeared on the flybridge with a mug of freshly brewed coffee and two toasted bacon sarnies...never has anything tasted so good (well, almost never).
