Beneteau Oceanis

Typical well used ex charter boat, probably in a charter fleet until 2010/11. Useful to find out who operated it.

That would be fine, it wouldn't bother me having an ex charter as long a the survey was fine.

Just looked at some Bavaria 36/ 38 on yacht world.com they seem a load of boat for the money!

Think I'll be having a good look round all these in September when I go, can't wait!

Think I'd keep it under the 12m cruising tax threshold. Have fun looking and hope you find the perfect Med boat.

>With this in mind are there just general areas on most boats being used for long term live aboard/ sailing that tend to fail?)

Have a look at the 'What can go wrong' thread further down, all you need to know. The answer is everything.

I have two french live aboard close to me in Beaulieu Sur Mer and both are on sub 10m boats. One is a 320 oceanis so you may not need to go up to 12m save some money and have it ready for the inevitable breakages. Just some food for thought.
