Eling Tide Mill .... ??
I drove past it yesterday, sign is repainted, fresh hanging baskets made. It was a bit early in the day to see if it was actually open.I just glanced at The New Inn on Google Maps, and on clicking the location, the side-panel reads as follows:

...the critical bit being 'Opens 12 Jul'. Can that mean they'll soon be open again despite the bad news reported above, or is it a previous July's notice?
.
See here near the bottom of the page, there are a few options from an aquaintance with a small mobo.Obviously I know about Lee on Solent and the Osbourne View pub in Hillhead, but are there other pubs on the beach I can go to and anchor off, then paddle in the kayak to the pub.
Where's the rest of it? Child's portion? The New Inn at Shalfleet is OPEN!
We drove past heading for the hills in the west, but the chalkboard said they're open, so now I'm sitting in the sun, full of lunch and Guinness.

Only with a paddleboard. I don’t even have think they accept dinghy’s for long. The Jolly Sailor on the Hamble has a pontoon. Does anyone know if one can moor there for a meal?
It really was perfectly sufficient. I'm a greedy hog and I was very happy.Where's the rest of it? Child's portion?
