Just seen the news about a new big marina at Bayona, there goes another beautiful spot! I do hope they don't ruin what is a very friendly wonderful town and anchorage, they will stop anchoring next and force everbody into the marina, where they will have to PAY! Don't say they wont do that, because they have done everywhere else! I hope the yacht club survives, its a really nice friendly club, Thank you everybody, I'll still pop in!

Haven't seen the news, but it sounds a bit alarmist. There is of course an existing marina attached to the yacht club, which is not that small, but always full. The anchorage is full of old mooring chain and other stuff, so I've preferred to use the marina here.

Can't see how an extension would spoil the club, which I agree is very welcoming, though I'd describe it as quite grand.
