My Parker 2320 seems to have electrical isolation problems. I have 12VDC potential difference between my propeller and earth ground when the ProMarine battery charger is plugged in. It has sufficient current flow that etching has started to occur on the SS prop and aluminum skeg on the outboard when the lower unit is in the salt water dock. The AC feed seems to be normal and is GFI protected.
Anyone have any ideas on what is occurring with my battery charging circuit?
The boat is new and I am the original owner. It has a Yamaha 300 outboard.
