Batteries Discharging

A current meter doesn't measure in volts - it tells you the amps being drawn.

You can see this in the screenshot you posted - the amps reading is a flat orange line at 0A, because you haven't got it set up properly yet. Is it a shunt you have to fit?

Wouldn't it be helpful to see if there was a large current being drawn when these voltage drops occur?

If so, that's your problem basically solved right there - it's nothing to worry about, you just have to figure out what's drawing the power. If not then I would guess at a bad connection of some kind, and those can be hell to track down.

Current meter as in the one I currently own.

As I explained in the original post, the only items on the 12v circuit that are switched on are the fridge and the bilge pump. I have a camera onboard that I can access remotely which looks into the bilge, and I can see that it is dry.

My first thought would be something placing a large load on the system, but there is only a fridge and an auto bilge pump that is not triggering. Could it be a malfunctioning fridge compressor? Whilst I was onboard, I monitored the current draw for about 5 hours and I didn't see the fridge draw anything out of the ordinary.

So could these batteries be failing and then balancing each other? Would that show as the voltage plot above?

As I said, I haven't installed the victron smart monitor yet, but the battery monitor I do have installed is not showing anything out of the ordinary.

I have new batteries on order, so I'll see what everything is like when they are installed.
