Managed to buy a couple of Firemaster from wickes (builders merchants) for 12 pounds 1kg size ABC Powder. Even had a sticker on it that said it complied with boat safety scheme. Same model in Port Solent was 29.99.
Bought a Halon replacement for the engine bay at the weekend. Not cheap. Any ideas how i dispose of the old one safely?

I have two of these at home (one bought previously) and one for the boat - fantastic value. Both Lidl and Aldi (also a German chain) have good quality stuff, but on a one-off weekly basis. I have bought numerous power tools, general tools and hardware from these places and can vouch for the high quality and low, low prices.
Both have a website, and Aldi will e-mail details of their weekly bargains.
