The Cunard 3 Queens are all in Southampton together on Sunday. Arriving early in the morning on Sunday and then departing together at 4.30pm - it should be a great sight. Weather permitting we think we will escort them out.
Coming out the needles by any chance....
Wouldn't have thought so, AFAIK they always go to the East of the Island.
Shall I or shan,t I ??
They are moving more out the needles now
+1, I've seen cruise liners coming out past the Needles several times now.
Our own plan is a quick dash (well, dash by raggie standards, I plan at 5.5kt) to St Vaast for a great big plateau de fruits de mer each, then turn round and head straight back the following morning. A scheme hatched back in the middle of winter, naturally!

It's become popular with the cruise liners, a much prettier exit and if going west far better, also frees up eastern solent exit for other bigger traffic
Looking at the forecast I think it's a no for us , which will give me some time to give the RS1800 a check over before we enter the Welsh forests in two weeks time, can't wait!!
North,mid or South Wales Paul?
.Jurgen, I'll show you mine if you show me yours! (Sorry couldn't resist!)
I think maybe medium size ships can exit through Hurst, this one photographed last august...though looks pretty big
