Bad boy out on the Clyde.

Thank you for your valuable and informative input.

My point was that there are now countless threads identical to this on the forum. All that changes is the location of the sighting and then we get the exact same reactions from the same people. I realise we’re all a bit bored, but for god’s sake, must we?

Stay at home - Protect the NHS. Simples.
The NHS is currently doing just fine, and none of the emergency hospitals current has any patients. Which shows that we are all, collectovely, getting it about right.

By the way. please don't and arguments with "simples" here. It's as bad as "end of" and should be kept for the lounge and other places where the unintelligent gather.

Indeed and as I recall one of Sharky's previous identities was all for calling the police every time something yacht shaped was out on the Solent, I wonder how that went
He probably got a badge for it:

There was someone bombing up and down Loch Gilp in a rib yesterday, I do not have a rifle and did not know what else to do, now I realise I should have ALERTED you guys.
Stay Alert, it could happen again.

Dearest Jumbledup
Thank you for your advice regarding etiquette and form when posting on this forum. Perhaps your labelling of me as unintelligent was unintentional - but clearly you meant to insult those posters who do congregate there.
I think I read somewhere that it was bad form and against the rules or at least the spirit of these fora. You won't mind me reporting you will you? -hopefully a spell in isolation might help you reflect on the error of your ways which might, in turn, help you.

"Gentleman: a man who never gives offence unintentionally" -- Oscar Wilde (attributed)

However in this case I regret to say that you have committed one of the classical logical fallacies: confusion of sufficiency and necessity. Stating that unintelligent people gather in the Lounge no more implies that anyone who uses the Lounge is unintelligent than stating that all cats have four legs implies any four legged creature to be a cat.
