Re: imposters on this thread

I been counting posts

'elsie' first post 28/9/2015 - 11 posts here none nowhere else

'Floyd rader' first post here 26/9/2015 - 36 posts
thats 47 posts from these wiv nuffin to do wiv OPs sailing club

Nuff rope to hang em

Your own posting record seems to be very similar ............ what did you say about rope ?

Vic,

Thought I recalled CaptP said in an earlier post that he was linked to this club in some way, a member or something?

If his figures regarding the imposters posts here are correct why attack him for merely pointing out the facts. If anything we should congratulate him for taking the time to do the research shouldn't we?

I think that's one of, if not THE sadest posts I've ever seen on any forum, ever. It assumes there was some importance to the task, and that it was time well spent which could somehow contribute to this sorry tale.

Re: imposters on this thread

Dear Elsie - why not drop this daft "NickC aka CaptainPugwash88" nonsense? Look at post #469. It's what most people bothering to read this thread have been thinking and/or saying for weeks and NickC has said exactly the same thing himself on previous occasions so why would he bother to say it under his supposed CaptainPugwash alias this time around?
Richard

Thanks Richard, would elsie prefer it if I repeat CaptP's numbers myself then. Taking those figures as a base, hope the good Capt doesn't mind me using his counts, and adding the number of inane tirades since now brings us to the numbers below:

'elsie' first post 28/9/2015 - 14 posts here none nowhere else

'Floyd Raser' first post here 26/9/2015 - 41 posts

As you all know due to the wonderful benefits of an idiot list I don't get to read any of them but see empty posts instead. I'm guessing they are all irrelevant rants, if there is anything of significance which requires an answer perhaps one of the more rational members of the forum could re-quote it and let me know. Many Thanks.

Makes me wonder, are Floyd and elsie deliberately trying to derail constructive discussion on this thread by their joint attempts to cause decent into silliness?

Long ago Nick used to argue about the club's actions, now he argues about how others argue about arguing. What next as the thread gurgles down the plug hole?

So shall we get back to constructive discussion on how to deal with the situation of the rogue committee who believe it is ok to ignore the Club Constitution and rules.

No. 42: No. Because we don't have to; it decended into silliness ages ago.

Now get the sad captain to look back at all 41 of my posts and nowhere will you find any attempt to whip up support for anything I post. I never do. Stand on my own thanks, but appreciate posts from like minded individuals.

If sufficient members agree this is so they they simply have to call an extraordinary general meeting. Put their case before the membership and vote on it.

NickC,

for what it's worth I remember the original grievance - which I still think very valid indeed - and the summary was an eye opener for someone like me who thought I'd followed all along but missed a few more horrors.

While some may say ' you've proved your point, move on ', and that must happen sometime, I can see why you're still fighting, suspect I would be pretty darn unimpressed too !

Andy

Which was what? The earliest I can remember was something about committee meeting minutes

Re: imposters on this thread

No, because you deserve to be chucked out by any means possible.

For someone who has claimed to have studied the law, that does not sound like a reasoned and balanced point of view. In my opinion it is from someone who has an agenda and is blind folded to the points NickC has raised. I for one (and I post elsewhere on this forum) think there is a case to answer and NickC is being denied a fair attempt at a meeting of all club members.

I don't know what you've been reading and I'm not going to fall out with you over it, but I have never studied law and never claimed to have done so, here or anywhere else. I have been taking the p*ss however and maybe you've missed the humour. My agenda has developed since I like others genuinely tried to make Nick see the errors he was making in putting his case over. Particularly his reasoning over why he never turned up to meet the committee when invited. Now read that last sentence again: he refused to meet the committee when invited. Do you think that was the correct thing to do? Look back through the posts for his reasoning. For this I was rewarded by being accused of being a member of the committee under cover. Then an insult.

What I am trying to show is that this NickC character is a nasty person and is probably guilty of provocation. Look how he acts on here, do you think that's possible?

And look at the time that has elapsed since this was raised: Plenty of time to get real support from the members of the club, but it's not there! He just feeds off the few bits of positive encouragement he gets here. The members of the club are happy without him. no one in the club is standing up for him. You think there is a case to answer but does that mean the same as "Go on Nick, I'm behind you all the way!"??

For the record: I don't give a monkeys but I realise that there is an inference in reporting the amount of posts I have made. I also realise that only a real saddo would look any further into it so for the record, I joined in March because I only bought my first boat in January, and I have also posted on other subjects. I have also been a Chairman of a non sailing club in the past. I joined the MG Car Club only to find it was in the midst of a monumental war between factions of the committee involving thousands of pounds. That never went to court.

Well I am going to request you and others are removed from the forum. its a disgrace you and others have been allowed to continue hounding this person. its an embarrassment to the human race quite frankly.

Re: imposters on this thread

Well one way or another there are two obvious points one can learn from this thread;

1, if I were in the area concerned I'd make a point of finding which club this is and avoiding them like the plague

2, Never, ever share a boat !

Steve,

What's the view like from way up there on the high moral ground? It's a forum for Christ's sake, get a life.

You're the one who keeps posting requests to stop the thread, then posts useless cr*p to carry it on. Frankly, I think this is where I came in. It's going round and round.
Here's a challenge for you and any other versions of Nick: stop replying to my posts, stop mentioning me in any posts and I'll stop posting on this thread. As I offered before. Can't do it can you?

Let the thread fall off the front page of the forum. Can't do that either.

Re: imposters on this thread

never have said stop. I suggested you try to be pleasant. why not try to just be nice. have you been wronged, you have continually wound this chap up with others I might add. big men. bet your not. grow up and say sorry for being a pratt. or go back a bully someone else.
Now I can forget about it and be pleasant next time.

For those interested; the correspondence, pictures, evidence etc. behind these issues is now available on a website. Publishing details here would almost certainly get the thread pulled again so PM me for the URL. Some of it’s almost quite entertaining

Thank you for link. I read it all.

Way I see it someone tried to add £250 "tax" to new mooring. They got caught doing it. Everything else just be trying to cover up they got caught.

Done some work - Hello Nick. You've let yourself down again. Post 393. Not only do you ask us all to stop, you've actually written it properly in understandable English. This goes against all the illiterate rantings you've done on brokerage in several other places. The brokerage threads where you moan about being harshly treated, reject opinion and advice, and end up being insulted. Not only that, looking at the amount and timings of your posts I'd say you have far too much time on your hands.
