At last a product that cleans dinghy's easily.I have a 3yrs old 2.8mtr Avon rib in grey. Over the last couple of years it has got harder to get it looking respectable until I used a product with the unlikely name of "Cleanahoy" dinghy cleaner. Used neat with a foam backed plastic kitchen pan cleaner , leave for 2/3 mins and hose off with fresh water. The results where amazing. The web site address is www.cleanahoy.freeuk.com

P.S, Although I have posted this before the most effective hull cleaner for grp hulls is Starbrite hull cleaner, both products have saved me hours of hard graft

what sort of dirt did your dinghy have?

mad-boater, did you clean off exhaust soot with it, or was yours dirty with some other sort of dirt?

I'd be v interested in trying this stuff if it can remove the dark grey diesel exhaust dirt (our dinghy is on chocks, right by the exhausts, so it gets dirty as we go along, estate car effect)

Re: what sort of dirt did your dinghy have?

jfm .The stains on my dinghy were a combination of general dirt and exhaust contamination. This cleaner removed it all very easily. Incidently I don't own shares in the company."cleanahoy" costs £7.95 including p&p ,worth every penny and they will send it by return of post
