Dear Jonnieholland,

First set your budget, absolute budget, no cheating, no extras, the finished article.....if you don't, you will regret buying the thing in the first place.

Do not rush your decision. Give your self time to view what is actually on offer. If you have not got an opinion yet, Wood, GRP, STEEL etc, be kind to yourself and learn.

Pick up the mags that sell em. Boats and Planes used to be a good ideas mag. It might fill you up to the top and give you a headache though, but it will give ideas, price ranges etc.

Above all, check your motivation...it is supposed to be something you want to do, try not to lose sight of that fact, I know many who have, and boating is a misery to them, their partners and family.

Best of luck,

Regards,

Firstspirit.
