Re: As the old saying goes \"there are two happy days\"
Well I might, with the benefit of 6 years more experience and having done some long trips. I would have thought it to be cheaper and quicker to overland it though. About £500 on a triple axle trailer.
Granted - not as much fun. Anyway, see my new post on this subject /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I feel confident that despite my best efforts at rehab (nice sedate 5 knts boating)over the coming months, he will probably transgress before very long and re-offend by buying something large, fast and very expensive /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Regarding August - get yourselves over for MYC Regatta. Great weekend and a very very good band appearing on the Saturday night - all welcome - we shall deflate the sandbanks for the weekend and ensure that everyone enjoys the full Madog experience.

Hold on there Suzuki!
I'm hoping the binman will be down for the weekend because we have a wager to sort out - dinghy race to Portmeirion and back.....across the sandbanks!! Was going to invite Snelson to participate but he's still blackballed for cheating last time out - never waited for me to say "GO!" Bloody motorboater see?
Shortage of bunks due to band staying on my boat but sure we can sort something out - particularly if you are "in tent" on coming (see what I did there?)
