Are boat builders tone deaf?

There is nothing wrong with music, but I am not sure I like what other people like played from 2 NM away (distance by AIS).

Sadly, I did not bring my bagpipes on the trip. You do like the sound of a good pibroch?
I think the weirdest thing I can recall is walking up the main street in Wareham and hearing the pipe being played. Turned out that the person playing them was a colleague!

In Greece, when there is plenty of room, why do charter boats anchor near you and blast out rubbish pop?

My daughter's condition is unrelated to hearing.
I am sorry to hear that your daughter has a condition that causes problems for her, and I hope nobody would object to her doing whatever is necessary to alleviate it; I certainly wouldn't.

But my concern here is with those who, without any excuse, and without the slightest consideration for others or simply to show off, play loud music.

There's no need for it, and no excusing it.

Never think of them. Hatred doesn't come into it. Does the guitarist still wear shorts?
You constantly try to prove a point how you DON'T know or think about that band, and how little you care. I mean, you don't have to. Me mentioning acdc was a joke anyway, but man do you have a point to prove. Virtue signalling.

You sound like the type who gets annoyed when children laugh and play near them in the park where they sit to enjoy the peace and quiet of the green.
The OP mentioned cockpit speakers, which, er, speaks for itself.
Cockpit speakers don't really say it's to llblast music stupidly loud. You know that thing called volume control?

Anyway. I leave you to it then. Getting unpleasant in here.

Glad OP solved his speaker problem though.
