Some of the boats in Hull marina haven't been lifted for years and their out drives are likely going to be like that.

even with anodes hull marina ruined a set of props for me, i'm pretty sure they have just electrical wires resting in the water unshielded

anodes, galvanic isolator ( minimum) or if money available galvanic transformer.
You need to protect from the other boats in the marina as well
Fitting new anodes, bonding bar, earth and bonding cable Galvanic isolater next week

Seems absolutely standard to me too

It only takes a neglected neighbour attached to shorepower and you become their anode. For what it costs vs the replacing of all that equipment....

Not necessarily, there can be a bit more to it than you think.

anodes alone will do little if several boats in the marina are sending electrical charge or earth leak into the water, this will melt alloy at anm alarming rate.
money spent on proper protection is negligible compared to the bill he will have in post #1
