Are cars corrosion-protected to withstand frequent dunking in salt water? Or is he doing a consumer test for Which? ?

Its a Smart.
He was around PS last Summer before he headed off to France for canal cruising.
The boat came back in the Autumn and was on the hard for the Winter. The owner did the ramp construction himself.

The Car is not a smart car!
Its a european micro car made by AIXAM
There is a dealer up the road from me, was looking at them last week.
The Car is made of plastic, so weighs virtually nothing, the salesman proved it to me by picking up the back end of the car!!
Would have been funnier if he picked it up at the front, with the engine lol

I think the Aixam has a 500cc Kubota engine, is a quadricycle, is exempt from the congestion charge, and does a lot of mpg. Ideal around town.
