Having replaced the connector on one of my (many) bonding cables as it had dropped off, I reconnected it and tested it to check that a current would actually flow........and it didnt. So took it all apart and started to clean up all the mating surfaces which was very difficult given the inaccessable nature of these things...
What I want to know is .. Does any one have a "trick chemical solution" that will remove the "verdigris" that coats all the bronze fittings so that instead of labouriously sanding down the contact area I can just "dab it on"..,. If not I can see my next weekend is not going to be fun Thanks Nick
