Anchors 2

I want to buy a 85-95 lb, Northill anchor, I can get one from the states, but although the anchor is cheap $163, the shipping is $395, to Spain! If the add VAT to cost and shipping, it's a ridiculous peice. Does anybody know anywhere I can get one in Europe? It's either that, or I will consider having one made, but the anglkes of the blades, I would think, are critical, as is the length of the arms etc. I can make a SWAG (scientific wild arsed guess) from the photos I've seen but would prefer, buying one or drawings. Can anybody help, please?

There is a company at Levington, nr Ipswich called E.Y.E who supply all anchors and chain - can't remember their website, but saw they had advertised in PBO when glanced thro' last night. Should be able to get you more info on monday.

I have PBO August onboard with me, are they in that one, it's in my room and my relief is asleep in there! Thanks for the info, I'll try and contact them.

Just got home - its www.eyecochain.com - had a quick look but onlty showed usual yacht anchors but worth a call...
