The twinflex has "anchor/tri Lt" written on it. And the red goes to "anchor Lt" switch and/but the black goes to "triLt" switch (instead of the neg side.) Wonder if this is a Lalizas units that only has 2 wires? What bulb is used?

I don't know the Lalizas however if the combination has only 2 wires for 2 alternative lights then clearly they have used a trick where pos on one wire and neg on the other is directed to one light by diodes. If you reverse the polarity to those same wires the current can be directed to the other light. So you need a complex switch which will reverse the polarity of 2 wires (or no connection for off) This trick made possible by LED lamps of low current. ol'will

Wouldn't say it's a "complex" switch. it just needs a double pole on/off/on switch to reverse polarity. However, the OP says he has two separate switches, so i can't see how it's possible.

Working on the assumption the bulb is blown, wohld like to take the correct bulb when I go up the mast

You'll need to give some more information and ideally, a picture.

Have the lights ever worked ?

Is it a combined light, or two separate lights ?

Are the two switches actually separate, or is it a on/off/on switch ?
