My previous boat had a short bowsprit which kept the anchor clear of the boat.

My Atalanta 26 has no bowsprit, consequently the anchor on occasions chews away at the bow paintwork.

Solutions please.

Congrats of your flying lifeboat! An interesting design that I have been tempted by myself.

Options would seem to be, in no particular order:

Add a small bowsprit.
Hand launch the anchor ie don't mount it on the bow.
Sheath the area being chewed in epoxy/glass with an added coat of epoxy/marble flour for abrasion resistance. (Or stainless steel sheet)
Change to an anchor that is less "pointy" - I'm not going near any discussion as to what the best anchor might be :)
