Thanks for posting this. Definitely an interesting read. I’d never heard of the guy. Makes me wonder how many more like him there are. We’ve all heard of the Hiscocks, Shane Acton, Webb Chile’s, ( dare I say Tristan Jones) etc etc but there must be many many more who haven’t written about their sailing experiences out there.

I read one of his books, and have enjoyed the stories he's covered on his website of others like him who do the 'because it was there' voyages. Particularly remember someone who chose to park his boat in a bay in Antarctica and spend the winter there. Batshit crazy, but full marks for effort.
