Has anyone any experience of fitting one of these - if so, how did you fit the GPS antenna? I want to put it on the pulpit rail but cannot find a suitable fitting.

Mike, Thanks for the response. Have been through the Glomex catalogue - hence my query. The standard rail fitting has the thread on the outside of the column as the GPS has the thread on the inside. Also they use a standard 1" diameter tube with a thread of 14 turns per inch. The AIT-250 GPS has a 13 mm tube with the thread on the outside, so the rail mount needs to have a tube with the thread on the inside. In fact, it looks like it is meant to be mounted directly through the deck or a mobo arch or something like that. At the moment it looks like a gaffer-tape mount is going to be necessary!
