But great to rid the boat of gas

inverter and kettle. I hate gas and only one of my five boats had it.
The first two had the origo stoves. When in a marina they are electric of course.
Boat 3 gas
Boat 4 diesel hob which is also slow to heat up but otherwise excellent - with a fan lid doubles as a cabin heater.
Boat 5 all electric with a generator. No good for the OP.

Real sailors eat their FB pies raw.
Oh a d buy some ear plugs or sound proofing

It would have been more worrying if , inside the tin, the pie was inside the mouse and the mouse was still alive .

inverter and combi microwave/oven is my solution to that. Plus a toaster if you like toast.

I do like my toast, especially slathered in Welsh Salted butter, I can feel my arteries hardening as I type. That is another option that I can look into so thanks for your tip.

I did loads of searching to find an old picture or advert got nothing, so you did well to find that pic

The “round thing” is a rotating screen to keep the screen clear of water in spray and rain. Very common on older commercial vessels.

That's not the add I bought her from,she was on Apollo Duck. The guy I bought her from has done a load of work and really looked after her, she is a much improved boat now. Seems the seller in this ad never knew what she was, she is a Marine Projects Pilgrim 25, believe they changed the name to Princess boats in 1974/75

She is going to be moored at Tewkesbury Marina so getting her brought by road,will shake her down and tweek her for a year or so on the rivers then eventually get her to Neyland Yacht Club in West Wales so I can enjoy running up and down the coast and may be Ireland when I am more competent

I will stick my neck out here as I don't know the boat, but that previous advert says "Pilgrim 25 refers to classes: river boats, river cruise boats and motor cabin cruiser boats. "

I will let someone more knowledgeable than me advise if that fits with your intended use.

The guy we bought her off used her at sea,but agree she would be more happy on the rivers, it's our learning boat and going on the Avon and Severn first. Only will be following the coastline so should be ok but be interesting to hear opinions

Makes the origo and oven/microwave solution more useful as in a marina you can (usually) plug in. Spirit and inverter only needed when out.

It’s nice when people ask questions them reply to all the answers. Good on you. Not everyone bothers.
