Do you want your AIS to display?

Is it possible that your auto pilot is powering your 2k bus and the splitter is only getting power when auto pilot is on? My 2k network is fed with a separate power feed
Great, thanks, i will try to do that!I'm a marine electrician and i can sort it out for you
One of the Seatalk cables will be coloured red/black. This is the STNG/N2K network power supply. This will no doubt be connected to wherever the AP is taking it's power from. You need to disconnect this cable and connect it it to the same place as the plotter and AIS get their power (the instrumentation switch). Make sure all connections to this switch are suitably fused.
Great, thanks, i will try to do that!
(I am.only wondering how does the radar and sounder appear on the c90w, i thiught they used the same network)
Can the autopilot be on when the powersteering is off? I am asking this because the autopilot display only has one connection (as you can see in the top right image bellow) so i imagine it is taking the power from there...
Just for the record, here is all info in one collage (to don't bother you guys with more pictures).
From top left to bottom right:
c90w back (connected via seatlak)
Autopilot (also connected via seatlak and with terminator)
Seatalk bus (with terminator)
