Anybody know a good source for a cheap and reliable 240v actuator? I have a dehumidifier that needs a button pushed to start/stop it if I want to run it on a timer.

As an alternative...
A mechanical actuator is perhaps a complicated solution. As an alternative, why not connect to the wiring of the switch instead?

It's a press for on, press again for off so it would need some circuitry as well. I thought perhaps an actuator may have the possibility to only push once per power up cycle.

An actuator is going to need some form of control circuit aswell. Do you have any idea of what type of switch it is, i.e. mechanically latching or non latching?
It maybe cheaper and simpler to sell the current dehumidifier and buy another more suitable one unless you are any good with electrics.
