It's right outside the Mottisfont and Dunbridge rail station which will take you to S'hampton in less than 15mins. It's a quiet rail line; you won't be kept awake by it as you lay abed in the Mill Arms dreaming of your planned purchases. And the beer's good and so is the grub. I live close by and always get the train in; no parking hassle!
Anywhere outside of the main show area which really means anywhere outside of Southampton.
Most rooms, even the new etap (unless you are locked into a deal) are over 100 squids a night, although it is alleged the De Vere is cheaper than its neighbour this year if you book right.
If you are not fussed by the dazzling lights of the city and twenty something students in skirts that really she be used as dusters then I would head to the New Forest or something similar.
For me, I cant wait.........
Watch our for my annual sticky post re free beer (on the IPC Stand), coming soon.
RNLI College if you're a member - it's a short walk to Poole station and a short walk to the show from Southampton if you want to drink. About 45 minutes to drive and watch for the speed cameras and 40 mph limits in Poole/Bournemouth.
