or a good time was had by all part 2!
Our group left Swanwick on Thursday bound for Poole where we had a little quiz so all got to know one another.
Fairline Southampton lent us a very nice Targa 43 for the trip.
Powerskipper was on hand to make sure I could find my way out of the Hamble!
And then we were off!
Arriving in Poole.
Then the quiz - both nautical and general knowledge.
Followed by a nice meal at Da Vinci's on the quay in Poole.
And the wine was sponsored by Trevor Betts from Fairline Southampton - cheers Trev!
The next morning it was off to Weymouth and for some, it was an "interesting" passage. The sea was a bit lively off the heads!
Then it was into Weymouth - we were expected!
And we had a talk from Portland Coastguard - thanks guys.
For some it was the first time on a "raft"
From there it was onto Brixham and Col and I had a little play, well Col did I just hung off the back and took pictures while he played

Then it was Brixham were we spent 2 days. Weather watching meant we came back a day early, but everybody seemed to enjoy it and all have booked to come with us next year. It must have been the cream tea we did prior to the skipper briefing on Sunday.
We had a great time with a great bunch of people, blessed with fantastic weather for the most part. Thanks all for making it so much fun! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
Even the kids had a good time.
