First the treasure trove…. Maritime Safety Information this gives you sight reduction tables, Worldwide sailing directions, pilot charts for the worlds oceans and the comprehensive american manual of navigation among others.
The tip may be well known but it just occured to me recently, when downloading east coast pilot chartlets and the like. I find finding files on tablets, especially the ipad a pita, so I share them from safari to the kindle app.
i set up a folder in kindle for charts etc and download them , then I can access them quickly and easily at any time by just opening the kindle app.
