Is this your latest dream boat? Is she for sale?
This is a lovely video, and the skipper and mate certainly have some very able young crew members on board - will you be able to press gang your grand kids to do the hard work?

Fabulous video, proper voyagers living a life to suit themselves.
Seeing those kids in the video reminds me, I was in the anchorage down at Culatra near Faro, once, and a couple of nippers, boy aged 7 and girl aged 5 came alongside in a homemade plywood dinghy. I had watched as they visited other anchored yachts and greeted the crews good morning in any of about half a dozen languages! Their home boat was a wooden double ender under the Norwegian flag.
Mum was a young American and father was older, a hard case, but friendly Norsky.
The little girl asked if I had any old T shirts?? I had a hunt below, and being puzzled I asked why she wanted them. 5 years old and all of 3 foot tall she explained in almost perfect English that she cut them up and made things to sell to earn her pocket money....
So I bought this fine hand made Bunny from her, she wanted 2 Euros, so I gave her 5. It is one of my real treasures from years of wandering.

The parents knew I was single handed and invited me aboard later. They had left Norway 4 years previously and were bound for the Canaries and an Atlantic crossing as I was, Martinique for me, and them..."probably Brazil, we're not sure yet" :D

That bunny is a real treasure for sure - the young girl who created the bunny is destined for great things in life ahead, especially with her ability for languages.

And I love your old telephone! My Mum's doctor has one like that still on his desk - but apart from his, it is many years since I have seen a phone like this.

" And I love your old telephone!"

I don't own a modern mobile phone and there is no signal within nearly 3 miles of where I live anyway, so that landline and the wire Internet connection is my only link with what some laughingly refer to as civilisation. (y)
