Will the MoBoChat forum be quiet today as most of the regular contributers have been consigned to Room 101?

I sincerely hope not, it is the forum with some life about it..

Yep, Room 101 last night and Paul Merton's guest was Michael Grade. He apparently loves sailing on the Solent but is fed up with being 'washed about' by stinkies in 'plastic suppositeries' whooshing past and making him rock and roll.
Sooooooooooooo..............all stinkies (visually represented by Peter Stringfellow if you please...) were dumped in Room 101....
The question is what should we do about this ................?

Yup Boatone, I think it was the Peter Stringfellow footage that really screwed it up. I think it must be hard to live with that sort of representation.. Not sure what could be done about it..

Re: Michael Grade sailing

Well, I was at a sunsail place a while ago, and Mr Grade did no sailing at all even tho there were no stinkies. So he's just finding a reason for having to sell the boat, which was probly cos his new wife doesn't like it much - she didn't go out either. They are too busy watching Charlton FC for sailing beyong the solent, from what I hear. But he's a nice chap.

Most things/people dumped in Room 101 have survived and thrived, so I don't think anyone need worry too much. Maybe, one day, someone like Eddie Jordon will go on and dump raggies in said room ;-)

Re: claymore returns from Nauticalia shop

aha, so there you are. I trust all is well with the incredibly hardworking students in the alps. For a while, we were only separated by a mere 100 miles of mountains, but now back to a more satisfactory 200+miles.

Now, wot on earth is all this "what care we, tho white blows the water" twaddle as your signature? Pls remove it as it is excedding pseudy imho. Only permitted for over 70s with no engine. And your ragpot has a slightly bigger engine than lots of the stinkies. Perhaps you might escape "Pseud" tag by quoting whole poem and poet, and then canning it.
